Ceramic Course

Description

Come for a day of fun and learning, get your hands as mucky as you like and go home fulfilled and with a piece of your own work!

You can come for one hour as a try out, or longer if you enjoy yourself – we are open every Thursday!

 

The Walled Garden Studio:

Set in a walled garden, the studio has been purpose built and looks out over the trough of bowland. You will find a creative paradise, full of quirky tools to use, and different clay types and colours. It really is the perfect place to unleash your creativity and relax!

 

You will receive personalised one to one tuition, from me, and over the course of the day we will be:

researching ideas, having demonstrations and discussions, and lots of practical work.

The courses are suitable for a wide range of abilities. Likewise, with the work, an unlimited range is possible, as we will cover different making and decoration  methods with a range of clays.  As the course is limited to 5 people, we can do handbuilding and throwing.

What to bring:

• Clay tools if any.
• Camera
• Note book/ sketch book with pen /pencil
• Baggy shirt or apron/overalls
• Towel

Thursdays Only:

• 10:00 – 12:00
• 14:00 – 16:00
• 19:00 – 21:00

 

Cost is £10/h, so £20 for a block of two hours.
